The brakes on my Rockhopper are Julies, and they come as standard with plastic type levers, which feel a bit flexy, so does anyone know if levers from a higher spec'd Magura system will fit..?

thanks

D.
you can get alloy lever blades for £25 from chainreaction but they don't have any in stock at the moment. it may be possible to fit a whole louise lever to them but i don't know if its possible and you'd have to mail magura to find out.

You can't fit a Louise lever to a Julie because Louise is closed, and Julie isn't. You can, however, get decent lever blades for them from Magura.
Yeah some Julies (the ones specced by 'dale fore example) come with alloy lever blades so they do exist.
i'm probably very wrong here but maybe its possible to use a HS33 lever with the julies as they're both closed systems and (i think) use the same tubing

I doubt it - the size of the master piston would be (I'm pretty sure) completely wrong.
julie is an open system, and the hs33s are closed, hence the red adjuster and no reservoir
but they both use the same tubing
