Hi I'm like the look of the Dawes FS team it got a good review in what mountain bike, but is it any good if you have one please let me known what you think. :-)

I had a look at one of these and liked what I saw, Is the Team the top Dawes? Can't remember. Anyways in the end I went for a Klein instead :-)

yes the Team is dawes top FS bike. quite a price difference between a dawes and Klein? ;-)

The dawes looks pretty good. does anyone know if the rear suspension is any good?

how about a EP-X Terra Shark anybody got one of them?

Nice parts, but I'm most definitely unsure about the frame and forks - it looks *very* similar to a bike that a mate of mine was lent once (a Reef IIRC) - which bobbed like a bastard, wasn't that light, and was just.... ugh.

thanks for the info, your right it made by the same people the make the Reef.

the EP-X Terra Shark got a good test score in the the may 2001 mountain biking uk. but I am also unsure about the frame

John, too right about the Dawes/Klein price difference! You know how it goes though, you start looking at sensible wheels and then once you head out to a bike shop it all goes to pot and you walk out 1200 quid poorer ;-)

Hey take a look at saracen's recoil, looks strangely similar to the santa cruz blur without the price tag...

bought an edge team as soon as it appeared.to put in a nutshell, early bikes had probs, but now sorted.have new 2002 bike, and out the box is good, but have modified mine and now it is VERY good.for the price would recommend, even if they do look a little agricultural,it;s a superb handler!

I got a trek fuel 80 in the end (discounted to £900), which I am haply with. the only thinks I don't like is the bad shifting off the front meg, and overall weight, and the suspension not very good over small bumps.

but it pedals really well, and was cheap enough to let me upgrade the bad parts (see my other thread on upgrading)
