Anyone get any idea get new specialised and scott bike stickers?

Specialized will probably give/sell you a new sticker set, providing that you have a valid frame number.

You might have a problem if you've powder coated your frame. I think Spesh laquer finish their frames, so the decals they use are water-slide - you're supopsed to varnish over them otherwise they will fall off. On a powder coated bike you'd need proper stickers. I had this problem when I powder coated an old Kona - I paid twenty quid for some decals which were totally useless.
Easy fixed though if you can find one of those shops that makes up stickers (much frequented by boy racers and the like). They scanned in a Kona logo, I gave them some dimensions, and they made me up a set of stickers. It worked out pretty cheap and the bike looked way better. The stickers could weather pressure wash and everything.

The 'stickers' that you get direct from bike manufacturers are generally actually transfers and have to be applied between the colour powder coating and the top layer of clear lacquer - as Al said, they're crap if just stuck on top...

Boy racer sticker can be good too - though the corners can start to curl up after a while but they're cheap and easy to replace if/when they do or if you get bored of the design.

I had no problems at all with the stickers made by the boy racer shop - easy to apply and they've stuck fast for ages. I don't usually approve of stuff like this as I'd expect them to make my bike look home made, but my kona looked boxfresh.
You're right though - I know that if I knacker them I can easily get some more made up.

Orange always used to use vinyl stickers, but my marin and spesh both have transfer type decals. BTW my local bike shop used to do vinyl stickers, very early 90's, but a decent sign makers might well be able to help.

Orange don't use vinyl anymore though. when I bought an evo2 they let me pick colour / stickers, but not so on my P7 frame. I wanted old school stickers on it as they reckon on the website they stock them going back a fair few years. I rang and asked - "Fuck Off Alistair". Ahhh, c'est la vie.
