i need mudguards.are the Topeak Defender Superlight Front Mudguard(as seen on wiggle) o.k for front sus? thinking of getting the front and rear based on looks. are they good quality or if any alternative let me know. thanks in advance.
I use "Moto-x" style ones, because I wear glasses and they offer a bit of protection even with the steering turned.
Unless anyone posts otherwise, I have found that most front mudguards are much of a muchness. Mine is quick release, but I have never taken it off - so what's the point?
THE mudguards have best pimp value, but make sure you get more recent ones with rubber bung fitting instead of old ones with crappy undersized star-fangled nut..
Do not buy Topeak mudguards. I have them and they are crap. The rear moves all the time and while the front works well it creaks a bit and my tire clashes with the retainer when the fork bottoms out making a nasty noise.
