While people are out hunting, any sign of a Tioga Disk-Drive (Yes, I really do want one!) and a pair of original, metal hinged Frogskins?

As to the thumby question, they really were the nuts, and still are. Best bet is to just hit the phone and call around the shops that were really big back in the day. Try a few like Psycho in Battersea, Yellow Jersey (Now Cycle Surgery) in Camden, or Cycle Centre on New Cavendish Street, W1. I know that's a bit London based, but that kind of shop may well have over stocked at the time.

Good luck!
