Has anyone ever seen a Chris King Ti headset?

Does anyone know how much they cost?

I am currently running a normal Chris King on my bike and I have changed every other item to titanium where possible and now I fancy one of those headsets.

Even the Chris King website says they are only made twice a year.

www.bromleybike.com have them in stock at a ridiculous 219 quid each.
I really can't believe they're worth the money though.....

saw one in the flesh at Pedal On cycles in Hampshire.Looks no different to the standard headset other than the price tag!!!

cycle surgery had one last year for about £150..which was bought by one of their staff..a BMX rider!

try them..they may be cheaper than other shops?

I discoovered that Chris King REALLY loves his stuff. My mate who owns the major test centre for bike components in the US tried to get hold of a Chris King head set to test for a review and they wanted to charge him full retail for it! There aren't many places that you will find them discounted.

£219 for a headset!! Do you still use a block of wood and a 3lb lump hammer to install it?

i thought the importers were evolution imports but they might trade as bromly bike co??

does anyone know where i can get a 34.9 mm headtube reamer like they say to use to install i've seen 35mm reamers but didn't know if it would be to big or am i just too fussy?

The Ti headset is heavier than the alloy headset, however are rare!! so nice to have

I own a chris king Ti headset - I got it from Aspirevelotech on ebay, possibly the nicest guy on the planet. I only cost me 150 quid! I can only say that it is amazing!!!
