I am going to buy some Sidi shoes via the Web, whats the sidi equiv to a size 7.5.
I have searched the web for shoe conversion charts but most of them are different - depending on the manufacturer. Do sidi do a conversion chart?? It seems not!
I'm a size 7 and my Sidi's are a size 42. I know Sidi make there shoes a bit smaller than others. I take it there is nowhere you could try them on first to be sure?
Thanks Anne, I think Steve's right I need to go and try some Sidi's on. The crazy thing is that my old shoes are sidi's just that they are so knackered that I can't see the size anymore, plus I can't remember what size they were and I know I had loads of problems when I first bought them.
I'm a size 7.5 and had the same problem when I wanted a pair of Invernos. It's well known that Sidi make narrow shoes and so I went for an equivilent size 8 (ie size 43) to make sure they'd accomodate my not exactly slender feet. Result is a well comfy shoe that's ever so slighty too long but you don't notice it when rding.
Are these summer or winter shoes, ie do you want to fit a decent sock in there as well?
I had to do the same thing with my Invernos. But (and I'm quite surprised about this) I seem to have *much* bigger feet than you guys. I take a 8-9 in english mens sizes and my Shimano shoes are 44's so I went for a 45 in the Sidi's. Well comfy.
I think I spent too much time in my childhood running around barefoot.
