i'm thinking of fitting an MRP to my Patriot frame, but i can't get my head around which one to buy. i think the world cup would be best to suit the chain ring size i want, but i have no idea if its the 1 or 2. apparently the 1 is for elevated chainstays, patriot has a swingarm, but its also 40 quid cheaper or something. does the elevation affect the chainline?
any help would be gratefully read and digested, like a chocolate book maybe.

you will need type 1. Your spot on mostly. if you buy thr wrong device for your frame the plates rub nicely and take the paint work off!

just be careful with what size chain device you run, if you're chain lines a little bit out, like on my bullit, then you'll find the chain will grate on the MRP plates if the chainrings too small! Im now running a 44 chainring for UK as it works better than the old 36! (I also cant be arsed to change it since going to the alps last summer...)

apart from that they work a treat mate, good choice!
