Is there any adaptor which will allow mounting v-brakes to a disc specific frame?

I'm slowly upgrading my gear and got the chance of a good frame, but disc specific. At some point I will buy discs, but wife/bank manager won't wear it just now. Does my frame have to sit idle until then, or can I swap my old XT V-brakes over using some kind of adaptor?

Front end is obviously fine as my fork will go into the new frame V's inclusive, but no way to mount on rear. There is a a hole on the crossbar between the stays, such as was used for mounting canti's, so maybe some sort of adaptor could go there?

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks

I dont think its possible. You need mountings on the seat stays(is that the correct name) But thats just me taking an educated guess, im not really sure if such a thing exsists.

Identiti sell a brake mounting plate for their DR jeckylls. (which i always thought was cheeky cos it doesnt come with the frame) they are about 20 quid. give Ison Distribution a call, they may be able to advise.
DMR sell similar things but their system is more specific to their frames.
the only other thing is getting someone to braze some on for you (someone trained obviously)
