the angry troll would appear to have got his mitts on either a dynatech (halcyon days, i hated mine with a passion, had 500LX sti on it IIRC, i tried to, ahem, assist the frame to the great bicycle shop in the sky by removing the rear wheel and jumping on the rear triangle but the bl*ody thing was as strong as it was heavy...but i digress) or, drum roll and hushed silence maestro please... an M Trax...a fabulous poster of said wonder bike can be seen here:
i think that pretty much covers raleigh's involvement with titanium and would also explain the 'hybrid' link as at least the dynatechs were bonded to steel rear ends or something along those lines....
as to whether the angry troll should keep it or sell it...
well if it's a complete bike then i'd say keep it, ride it till it wears out to see if riding after all this time is still something to be spending lots of cash on. if it is then go out and dump the raleigh in a skip and buy a proper bike to ride and enjoy. if selling, don't spend the tenner all at once...
oh and with spelling of that calibre and a fuse that short i thoroughly recommend the mbuk forums...
