Andy,
What was the verdict on the motion alarms? Do they work when the bike is on its side?
Seems to me a combination of motion alarm, dog tie screws and a length of chain could work. I'm off to the Argos site for a view of tents

The alarm sounds a bit of a nightmare. Even if it worked (which I doubt it will), all that will happen is that you set it off as you kick your bike returning to your tent in the dark after a few beers and you annoy the hell out of everyone in the campsite and you end up falling in a heap on the bike as you try to turn the damn thing off.

Just get a vestibule tent, its a lot easier!

Does anyone know where you can purchase those one man tents which incorporate the bike? They were at the Merida Mtb Meet in Rhayada if thats any help?

the hilleberg nallo tent equivalent is the terra nova eclipse 2+, whichis a little heavier but ~ £100 cheaper. you can fit 2 bikes in.

outdoorsmagic isn't too bad guys ;)
