yeah similar sort of thing gonna end up with a bolt through my head aswell if i dont stop trying to hop up park benches on it

Only just given up my rigid after 10+years.
I think I realised how much I'd been left behind when I rode CYB last year and was stopped by more that one group of lads (on full sussers) who were all like 'Whoa, a retro alpine star' and 'wow, riding this on a rigid must be wild' and so on.
This was all a bit embarassing as i've been riding that bike up and down CYB about a decade! I wasn't much slower than them down the pink hieffer though so it wasn't too bad.

Don't get me wrong after just two proper rides on my new (ok, newly built) hardtail I'd not go back, but I'm glad I stuck with it so long and was made to keep up with all my mates with suspension.
