dont know if true but i have been told that whilst fairy might be kind on your hands it aint on your specs and will disolve the anti glare and anti scratch coatings. never held on to a pair of specs long enough to find out if this true or just marketing hype.
Motorbike shop or Oakley dealer it is then, not risking screwing up stupidly expensive optics ;+) The main problem seems to be that the prescription inserts limit the airflow which would otherwise keep the misting at bay.
Not that I needed shades on the way into work this morning...
Oakleys also steam up all the time. When I was skiing, all the Boarders used Oakley a-frames and they had no end of trouble. Most bought Anons in the end.
However, I find that with my splice simply altering my breathing and macking sure I dont exhale upwards works for me. And ofcourse, riding quickly increases airflow and demists them.
The Fairy Liquid trick works on the inside of me Arai visor. My Oakleys always get bathed in the bubbly washing-up water (before the pots...) and they don't steam up.
