I bought stuff from Wiggle, road shoes, problem is they don't have any adapters to take cleats! It took 2 weeks to find this out, phone calls and emails. The saleswomen was short tempered and rude. Also they haven't responded to my letter of complaint. Fine buy from them if your confident, but if there is a problem I think you will be unsatisfied with the way they deal with it.
Over the past two years I must have spent hundreds of pounds with Wiggle. From day one, whenever I called to inquire about any orders etc I always got quick concise information. If I ever ordered before lunchtime I could always expect my delivery to turn up the following morning. One time I ordered pair of Sidi Bullet MTB shoes. They were a size too big. I sent them back to Wiggle at lunchtime, 48 hours later the right size shoes were sitting on my desk.
Never had an issue with them. I bought a wheel the died on the rim weld over a year after i bought it and they considered this a fault with the build and replaced it! cant argue with that! top notch company. only problem i've ever had it their couriors, and lets face it couriors suck all over.
I found them to be fine but just now they slipped up. I ordered some bits on saturday and then decided to cancell the order sunday. just received an e-mail saying my order has been processed and is due to me tomorrow. no idea whats going on there.
never had a fault with the Wiggle customer service. The couple of problems I've had with them have been sorted out vbery well and with a freebie thrown in for good measure.
if you want immaculate customer service/advice and all the bells and whistles pay full price at your lbs, if you know exactly what you want and are just after the best price without the need of all the extras a shop offers then you'll have no problem.
I've only ever used them once and they were fine. But i generally find them way to expensive. I can walk to the local Evans' and get stuff cheaper than Wiggle! I tend to use CRC and Bikedock, always cheaper.
Also I spent ages at various web shops and for what I was buying (Sidi shoes and topeak bike storage tower) after discount plus postage they worked out cheapest I could find. Similarly while I have 1 friendly local bike shops they are v. expensive and that grinds somewhat!
No complaints here always quick service and the odd time had to phone them very polite and helpful, even wheen you ring up to add stuff to an order they already have. Only had cause once that they sent wrong stuff, imediatly sent right items at no postage charge and keep what they had sent me free. Top company.
My mum ordered troy lee XC gloves 2 weeks before my birthday on May 6th and they came 2 weeks after the big day. I found them too small sent them back and emailed wiggle to check they arrived and ask for an XL (i also put a note in with the gloves) as of today the 1st september no sign of any gloves XL or otherwise.
