I bought 101's thinking i'd said goodbye to wet feet, only to find out they're not as good as over shoes. After trying several ways of keeping the water out and nothing working I decided to buy some sealskinz, I know £24 for socks is ridiculous but they do work.
Riding home on Thursday evening in the pouring rain, it felt like my 101's had filled to the brim with water. I had only just posted a glowing review of them on this site... hmm!
So Friday, a pair of SealSkinz was ordered as this is the only way to keep your feet dry even when wearing a so called winter boot.
I think the water got in between the ankle cuff and the tounge which is a design fault on Shimano's behalf. I'll let you know how I get on with the SealSkinz.
