Hello bod peeps!
I am looking to replace two chainrings (middle and outer) on my LX M572 chainset,for some better one's.
While i'm at it,i want to get some bigger sizes (34 and 46)instead of 32 and 44.
I've been thinking of Race face or something similar.
Any suggestions?

MY big Cog is Race face, nice trick quick changing stuff, looks good changes well, bla bla, looking to replace the other 2 soon.

Those, PTFE coated ones look nice, but LOADS of money, so nah!!!

Middleburn hardkote is what I've done recently. Not sure how well they will wear but will do better than the stock LX cheese.

Just had a look at the Middleburn slick-shift,hard coat chainrings.
So far they're my first choice!

Apparently i can't use a 46t chainring because my front mech won't be able to handle it!
Is this correct?

What size is your Chainring know ??? and how many mm's of gap over the top of it have U got ???

44 to 46 is nothing, Middleburn should change better so no problem.

Bigger front ring ='s less ground clearance over logs though!! Almost took my Big ring off but it does come in handy at times.

As i'm making both the outer and middle ring 2 teeth bigger,i didn't think it would make any difference?
I'm only using the bike for the road,so ground clearance isn't a problem!
I've also read that the bolt circle diameter on LX is 104mm and that most cranks are 110mm is this the case?
Chain reaction told me that they don't have any chainrings in a 46t to fit my LX cranks,yet when i looked on the site they do!

is 2 teeth going to be noticeable to waste your cash on mate ??? 4.5% stronger gearing!!!

never had to replace or mess with cranks so ??? they work I ignore them really so ???

Yeah it is worth it because the chainrings that i have now are starting to wear away and i could do with a slightly harder gear ratio (i get to top gear too easily at the mo)

Well, if they need replacing anyway, i guess why not try!!
