I got me an XY seatpost yesterday from Cyclesurgery for £20 off list because it had been inserted into a frame once before.
OK price was only that of CRC but I got it in my mits and will be installing it today. Distinct improvement on the cheap and crappy silver aluminium job on there at moment.

Good choice, they seem to come highly recommended.

Thompson are lovely but unfortunately their lay-back post can't be dropped into the frame. XY saddle adjustment is amazingly great.

Yeah, the XY posts are the best ones around. Used to like Thomson but had a couple of issues with their bolts and then discovered Race FAce XY. The layback and adjustability are spot on.
