Ron Jeremy around these parts claims that he's broken links before under high load conditions. If it's a problem, join in the normal way, you shouldn't get any other problems with them.
I've been using the pc-89 with no problems and it runs just as well as a Shimano chain. Plus it's got little holes cut out of the side plates (looks good)> They have them at crc!
Probably cause theyre PC99 not PC99 hollow pin? That would be my first guess.I don't know if the hollow pin help anyhow but if it looks a cool as my hollowtech II cranks then they should be amazing (I Can see through my bike!!!!)
there are definatly hollow pin and normal check sram.com. i could put a pole through the crank and knock over pedestrians as i cycle along. Oh yeah you could use the hollowpin chain to smuggle little(really really little) things into other country
