How do i tell if my mech is top or bottom pull
i am selling one on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3684786943&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT) and loads of people want to know
any help greatly appreciated

hint: does the cable come into the mech from the top or from the bottomn when it's on the bike...

As adamx says, but note that 2004 XT front mechs can pull either way. They also come with shims to fit all sizes of seat-tube.
