for 05 bikes

This'll make Kato and all the other SRAM brainwashers happy. Cannondale are speccing quite a lot of SRAM on their 05 range. The F4000SL gets XO mechs and shifters and the lower end bikes are gettting SRAM rapid fire and mechs. They're still using Shimano chains and cassettes though :-)

It'll be interesting to see if other manufacturers go this way.

There'll be a lot of it about. Many manufacturers are having trouble getting hold of supplies of certain Shimano parts in time for their desired launch date.
