Fluffy: I'm very interested in purchasing the Cygolite Z Force Halide from ATC. Seems a bargain to me. What is the light output and burn time like?

Not used them yet (as I only got them yesterday) but unless it chucks it down they'll get a go tonight. I expect they are going to appear bright to me as I'll be comparing them to a set of Smart 5W+10W lights. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow (unless they're crap and I'm still wondering around in the dark).

Photos of lights on bike here.
They look a good Spec for the money I must admit, 4hour run time are they ??

Dylan 3 hours I think.
Modern day, Stadium, same run time, same power really effectively the same, and less money.

If you only need 3hours, get this.

From your photos, it looks really well made. 3 hours burn time is plenty for me. The reviews on mtbr.com seem highly complementary:

It does seem well made. Dylan I have a good reason for not buying Stadiums, from the photos you'll see the led f/r lights are Cateye, well they're both shafted, the back one comes on when it feels like it and the front after a week doesn't come on at all.

Anyway I'm off now going lamping!
Off Lamping myself in 30mins :)

I'm anti Cateye aswell I'll be honest with you, and Stadiums are discontinued, they've stopped making the bulbs to, so if you've got one, order a spare bulb already.

Although I think only they can change it ??

Well I'm very pleased with the light (thank god as I still think £165 is a lot to spend on a light) Can't say anything about the burn time yet, but I used them for a hour last night (+ 2 feking punctures) and a hour and a half the night before and they are still bright. I've added a couple of photos (taken in the dark) to the link above but don't think they do the light justice.

its hard to take pictures at night and still complement the beam.

Why not try http://www.budgetgadgets.com/-p-987.html, they are very bright and will make you seen even on a dull day.

Uses the hope vision 1 LED ..is pretty damn bright..I use it as a backup headmounted to my hope hid's but on its own its real good..no battery pack and uses normal aa rechargables..should be able to get it for just over 65 quid as well.

Made to last ... hope fanboy!
