Altura Trail now open New 19km trail in The Forestry Commission's Whinlatter Forest opens
Lookng to buy the BIKER jacket with the four external pockets for long trail rides in the coming months and also some enduro work. Anyone had any exp of this jacket.
have MT500 baggies and humvees. absulotely sorted. used them as only shorts for 7 months in africa biking every day. they still get used loads and look and feel great. They'e a great company and I would recommend getting anything they produce.
I had the stitching go on several consecutive sets of Endura bibs after, well, not long enough, so tend to avoid. Another vote for generic outdoor kit here. If you're after a winter top, you might be interested in this:
My experiences with Endura shorts (MT500s, Humvee, Humvee 3/4s) have been excellent but the baggies come up quite tight I've noticed. They stretch with wear tho.
I have the MT500 top as well which is pretty goo and well thought out.
My preference is for Gill (good value, good quality) jackets or Gore (expensive, very nice tho)
I've got quite a bit of Endura stuff. 2 pairs of MT500 shorts, Fs 260 bib shorts, 3/4 bibs (Thermastat?), Clip Biblongs, Munro jkt, shirts, overshoes, socks, so you could say that I'm a fan. Apart from the design and quality, one area where Endura are excellent is the customer service. I've returned two items, one clip broke on the Biblongs and the waterproof zip failed on the Munro jacket. Both of these items are "bought in" at Endura so you can't really blame Endura for the failures. On both occasions the service level has been brilliant. In the post in the afternoon, an email from Endura the next day to say the issue had been dealt with and the item delivered back to me the next day. You cannot beat that! Yes the logo's fell off my FS260 shorts - so what, I buy stuff to perform well in what can be very shitty conditions. Big thumbs up to Endura. P.s I'm purely a customer with no connection to the company.
I have quite a bit of Endura clothing and it is generally very good. I've only been let down by the Weatherpants. Hummvee shorts are great as are the thermal tights.
