I'm 6'6" with a 36" inside leg, and looking for trousers and log arm uppers that don't end up sitting half way up my calves or forearms.

Anyone got any recommendations for long/tall gear?

Try Endura for long sleeve jackets, Ron Hill Trackster or Bikester XL trousers, they have footloops that prevent them riding up.

I doubt the bikesters will fit you. I wear them (and like them), but at 6'4" with 'L' leg trousers, the XLs are only just long enough.

Sorry, can't offer any alternatives - but if you find anywhere selling decent size 49-50 SPD boots, let me know...!

I'm 6'5'' and have the same problem. In winter I carry a pair of cheapo DHB leg warmers from wiggle. They're fleece-lined and cover from my shorts down to my feet. They're certainly not the most fashionable bit of kit I own but I've been very grateful for them on many chilly rides.

I'm not sure about Endura either, I'm 6'1" and have trouble getting them to fit.

My mate is 6'6" and wears DeMarchi Bib tights if they're any good for you.

I'm 6'6". Bikesters are too short but I do wear them with reasonably long black socks to minimize the gap! I had to cut the foot loops of because otherwise they wouldn't stay up - material is not stretchy enough. Most trousers/longs/etc are too short and most tops are too short on the arm for me. I have a couple of tops with thumb loops made out of reasonably stretchy material that work quite well in winter. Other than that I haven't come across much for long people. Generally I depend on long socks and gloves with longer cuffs for winter riding. Doesn't look great but does the job. I might take a look at the DeMarchi tights though.

If you cut the footloops off your bikesters you may as well buy ordinary track bottoms, Adidas are fairly long in length, mine trail down to the floor when I'm walking.

If your comfortable with your sexuality then go and buy some ladies keep fit type leggings.

Once their on no one will know.

My mate used to have the same problem when looking for decent leggings for orienteering.

He used to buy Adidas ladies running leggings.

I'm 6' 5" and wear baggy shorts all year round because most longs have a 33" or 34" at best inside leg.

Troy Lee tops are pretty long in the arm and so are Shift, go for XXL. Fox tops are ok too again XXL.

For jackets, look at Freestyle. They have about the longest sleeves I've come across (I find Endura's particularly short surprisingly). Altura waterproof over trousers should fit but you'll have to cinch them in a bit and Lusso bib tights are nice and long as long as yet get them in XL.

Race face jackets have nice long arms but their quality is a bit questionable IMO.
