So, I just bought some SKS mudguards for my commuting bike (rigid MTB) and there were no bolts/screws included to fix them to the bike.

My frame and forks have fixing points but I've no idea what size/type of fixing to use.

Help?

Thanks

if i was you i'd take em back as it sounds like they must have left the fixing pack out. If they genuinely don't come with them then this lot seem to sell spare fixings but i'm not sure what model of mudguards you have bought.

Had exactly the same problem. Took mine back to Evans cycles, bloke didn't know what I was talking about, the mechanic was on his break, so I just got my money back in the end.

Maybe try going back to the shop and asking somebody who knows what he's talking about for the necessary bolts.

I'm glad I looked in. I bought SKS guards too, about a couple of weeks ago and only got around to start fitting them today. I was cursing myself as I thought that I had somehow lost the packaging!

It seems that SKS don't supply the fixing gear?
