Has anyone else had problems with the Gel Lite gloves losing their gel pads and the stitching around the wrist failing? My previous pair (labelled 'Made in China') of these lasted about 18months. The current ones (labelled ‘Made in Sri Lanka’) lasted about 6 weeks before the pads started coming off the left hand one and the stitching came apart. The later gloves also seem to have a thinner palm and the Gel pads are actually a little smaller than previous ones.

They’ve all been washed/dried in the same way so I have to assume it can only be the manufacturing that’s different.

It’s a shame because I find them very comfortable and in the past have found Pearl Izumi kit to be very good.

To be clear it's the full gloves not the mitts that the 'related product'link above points to.

I ahve some that are fine and have last over a year with a few machine washes. Sounds like you have just been unlucky.

Can you have a look at the label to see where they were made?

Mine did exactly the same after less than a month. Crap. Quality control at Pearl Izumi really does seem bad, and I would never buy any other clothes from them. Designs good, quality bad.

Most gloves lose their silicone braking grips or pads on the palm very quickly anyway. After geting pissed off at first few pairs i have just accepted it (and tried PI, many fox gloves and altura brand)
