Hey Ive bought a medium 2002 Enduro Fsr Comp frame which im building up to do xc. Its got 4-5.2 inches of rear travel and I want your opinions on what forks I should buy for it. I'll giv you a reasonably flexable budget of £200 or slighlt above. I think im looking for somthing with around 100-120mm adjustable travel mayb some sort of lock out feature. The best fork I can get for the money!

Anyone got an enduro doing similar riding (glentress single track black route red route kinda thing) What forks do you run with and whats your advice and opinions?

Cheers guys!

Doug. (no stranger to danger!)

Marzocchi MX Comps 120mm, with ETA if you can afford it. They're excellent forks for the price.

Yep, best value for money at that price point and bulletproof, make sure and get 120mm though, not 100

I've a 2003 Enduro Expert that came with a set of RS Psylo SL's. Initially I thought they were crap and thought about replacing them. Then they went wrong so I sent them to Tim Flooks for a tuning, and now they run lovely - the best forks I've ever ridden, and they seem almost bombproof... You can pick up a set of last year's quite cheap now and save a few quid from your budget... get Psylo XC's if you don't need the lockout - they're even cheaper. Psylo Race: £250 on CRC at the moment...

Ive taken on all your advice, and gone for something completely different and off the wall. Ive bought a new 2004 pair of manituo minute 1:00 of Ebay for £170 (exchange rates really good right now) Shippings around £20 and Im just waiting to see how much I get shafter on import tax and Vat. Ill let you all know how I get on cause if it works out alright its an excellent way to get a great fork for not alot of cash.

Anyone know anything bout import tax and vat? lol

Doug.
