First, the light is very good at illuminating. I have the original race, and a race turbo. The turbo is even better.

I ride with these every day to work along pot holed lanes.

BUT - the mounting is not the best designed and one of mine fell off after a week, stripping out the thread. I was told it was a batch fault and was eventually swapped.

AND - the switch is fiddly especially with cold fingers and is not too good in the wet. The idea of cycling through the settings by pressing is annoying.

AND - the battery easily stops contacting and the contacts have to be cleaned. I put a small sticky pad in the casing, the design needs changing.

AND I had a circuit board fail on me which took some convincing to get a replacement. They repaired it, at this price and within 2 weeks of new it should have been replaced.

So, they are brilliant lights and weigh very little, but the switch and the mounting method could be radically improved.

Mine have been back to USE for repair twice now, which for the money just isnt good enough.

Well My Exposure Turbo and joystick are a year old now. Both have been faultless, both still run at full duration

have been down numerous caves (including through the sump at swildons several times), Been chucked down Swinleys finets a few times as well, and out in many severe downpours. Never missed a beat

This week the builders have been using the Exposure Turbo up on the roof trying to replace our old roof in the dark and its survived that

So very happy with them. Would recommend and buy again

The time gaps between posts on this thread are impressive! 22 posts in nearly 2 years, but several intervals in between!

Well this thread was started as a reply to a revue of the Exposure lights. In which doubts were raised as to the early versions durability. So a followup on a year of hard use is pretty relevent
