First, the light is very good at illuminating. I have the original race, and a race turbo. The turbo is even better.
I ride with these every day to work along pot holed lanes.
BUT - the mounting is not the best designed and one of mine fell off after a week, stripping out the thread. I was told it was a batch fault and was eventually swapped.
AND - the switch is fiddly especially with cold fingers and is not too good in the wet. The idea of cycling through the settings by pressing is annoying.
AND - the battery easily stops contacting and the contacts have to be cleaned. I put a small sticky pad in the casing, the design needs changing.
AND I had a circuit board fail on me which took some convincing to get a replacement. They repaired it, at this price and within 2 weeks of new it should have been replaced.
So, they are brilliant lights and weigh very little, but the switch and the mounting method could be radically improved.
