After reading reviews on here of this light, and having got fed up with quality issues of my cheapo Smart SLA lights I splashed out on a set of the Electrons for my commuting bike.
I was pretty pleased by their appearance and ease of installation but the light produced was very poor IMHO. A weaker beam by a fair bit than the Smarts, I thought this had been £50 wasted but decided to try a Maplin 10W MR11 bulb for a princely £1.99
Wow - replacing the 5W bulb the light is much, much better and the new bulb also put the original 10W to shame (it was weak and yellow tinged in comparison) and now with both lighs running the Maplin bulbs I can say they do the job pretty well.

Overall : nice lights, look pretty well made but as sold the output is poor. Source better 10W (or even brighter ?) bulbs and they make sense.
