I'm Currently using Specialised Evil Twins F + R (Got them a few years ago) which were fine in the sandy conditions round Bournemouth/Dorset/New Forest but now I've moved to Bicester and the Claggy Mud stops my bike in its tracks, I just keep running out of frame clearance 'cos the mud packs itself on the tyre and doesn't get shed off. Help! I'm fed up of carrying my bike.
If it's really claggy mud and very little other terrain types then I'd go with mud specifics, like Panaracer Fire Mud. Only problem with mud tyres is that they tend to be narrow and feel very dodgy on hardpack or tarmac. If this isn't going to be a problem then get some.
