Anyone used these M:Part Cable Clips to secure Shimano Hydro brake hoses (unbraided)?

Cant us the metal doohickys since my existing guides have angled ends and think these may solve my flapping hose problem.

Interesting...didn't notice those before. I was using the Hope hose guides but they ripped my trousers and ended up getting bent by a pair of strides which was stronger than it!

Have ordered a set, so will let you know if they are worth the pittence they cost. Should have them by tuesday.

I used them on my Marin and they worked very effectively.

Just make sure that the surface you're sticking them to is abosolutely clean and free of any grease - it's best to clean it with some meths or discbrake cleaner (not the oil based type though).

Also, if you can warm the metal up a little bit, perhaps with a hot water bottle or something similar, ever the heat from your hand should help. This makes the glue on the guides stick better.

Got em and fitted em..... seem great, have to see if the adhesive stands up to a soaking though...

The underside pad is slightly curved (nice touch if you have round tubes), but with a bit of heaving push flat for flat bits.

My Shimano hoses fit nicely and would hold without the cable ties, but I put em on just in case I snag one on a twig....

Seem super for the $$, just want to grind off my excess gides now....
