Hello everyone, I used to be a regular, even prolific, member of several MTB websites, contributed to MBUK and raced a fair bit too. In the last couple of years however, i must have only riden about twice, due to other committments, and a new love of 20" wheeled kids stunt bikes. So, the MTB has to go, partly to fund a new car, and mostly because it's just not used enough. Thing is, i'm a bit 'out of the loop', and not such how much to ask for the bike, and where to sell it. Any suggestions or help would be great. The bike: 03 Intense Tazer HT, white, with Fox Talas RLC, Hope Mini's, D521's, 105 mech and cassette, Sram trigger shifter, Bulb front hub, Deore rear, EA70 bars, EA50 post, Atomic stem, Sky Pilot headset, RF Prodigy DH cranks with a Blackspire, MX30 pedals, and other parts of a similar quality.
Obviously it's all new or nearly new, professionally maintained, great working conidition. I guess it's worth a fair bit, so i don't want to screw up the sale and end up with £500 for it... Help me sell, PLEASE! Thanks.

I use eBay a lot, i've got 60-something positive feedback. I'm a bit worried about the expense of selling on eBay though. I sold my Eastern cruiser on there a couple of weeks ago, and a Buy It Now auction up for about 6 hours cost me almost £20...
Even if you don't want to sell it on ebay, have a look for similar items and see what they sell for, it'll give you a rough idea of what people are prepared to pay
its against ebay rules i think but don't use a reserve or buy it now and if the auctions not going to plan with 10 minutes left pull the auction, saves on fees.
I'll give SDH a try, the users there seem pretty well off. I was thinking of asking £1600 for the complete bike, but being obvious that i can be bartered down. Does that seem right? Original retail price was somethere in the 2.8k range...
