I own a Muddy Fox alu lazer, and I'm after a chain guard. I'm not sure of the technical name (if there is one) but its the part that covers the discs which holds the gears by the pedals. Anyone know where i can get hold of one of these?! any help will be appreciated.

er, do you want one to keep your trousers out of the big ring, or summit to replace a big ring and stop your other rings getting shagged by landing on summit?

if it's the latter, go on bike websites, you've probably got a 32tooth middle ring, so find a midle ring chainguard or bash ring, you will need to find out if you have 4 or 5 bolts on your chainset, to let you know which ones wil fit

my brother asked me to get one, it was £10 from halfords, and fits via the middle of the crank, but, it looks hideous

erm, they might have a few different sizes, it depends on the amount of teeth on your big ring

you can do, but really just the amount of teeth will be enough, if it's easy enough, take it with you, just to get a bit of confirmation about which one to get
