Bob trailers and full sus bikes

Has anyone experience of using Bob trailers (yak or ibex) with a 5" full sus bike - and taking it off road onto singletrack? We want to get one to go on and off road touring in western isles but are concerned that the sideways pull will damage the back of the bike. I guess they are fine with hardtails but not sure about full sussers. Thanks
