Hi,

I will be getting a brand new Ridgeback Storm soon (2004 model) as a result of a warranty claim.
I'm really happy about this but wanted to know what people thought of this bike in comparison to the Marin Urban range, such as the Muirwoods and Novato? Are they better and do they have better components?
I really like the look of the Marin Urban range you see, but am hoping that they are actually as good as the Ridgeback Storm.
Can anyone recommend whether I should go for the Marins? Also can the Marins take knobbly tyres in case I want to go mountain/hill biking?
