I'm thinking of getting a On-One Inbred. Nice bike and nice price. Anyway, they are sold out of 18inch frames, so should I bother getting a 16inch frame?
I quite like a bike that I can throw around etc and the smaller size does appeal, but I dont know enough to want to risk £400 on a bike could be small enough to lend to toddlers. Any advice appreciated.
i'm building up a 16" dmr switchback, and i'm 5'11" and the 400mm seatpost is only just long enough. looks cool with that much seatpost sticking out though:)
I reckon it depends on a lot more than your height - i ride one 16" bike and one 17" bike, and I'm 6'. This is because I don't like a long bike - my back doesn't like the stretch - can't hack road bikes either!
I suppose it depends on leg/torso ratio, i think i have longer legs than average, which would also contribute to wanting a shorter frame.
