i can pick up a specialized chamonix helmet for 12.95 instead of the rrp of 29.95.

seems ridiculously cheap, the rrp price bein cheap too. site says they offer the same protection as the rest of the range.

wots the catch ? big ? bulky ? looks ok in the pics...

i'd appreciate tales of any experiences with them. ok for epics of just for trundlin to the shops and back ?

This is my first and only helmet I have bought and as such it is doing fine at the moment. It's easy to adjust the straps to fit and they stay in place well.

Mine doesn't fit too well (funny shape head me thinks) so I am looking to replace it, also I dont like the look of it too much, the detachable visor looks abit out of place.

So, functionally it is fine and the only reason I want to replace it is through personal choice rather than poor performance.

At that price though, you could live with it no problem.
