get a tow bar, fit a tow bar mounted rack, there the only ones that dont scratch your car/bike and fall off on the motorway at a 100mph.

Saris bones. Adjusts to fit any car, I have a spoiler but it fits fine. It has good straps that dont scratch the paintwork work either. Check em out on Wiggle. Fiddly at first to set up, but once you've done it, takes about five minutes.
