I need to get a new helmet, after getting all down and intimate with the nearside wing of a citroen zx...

Dunno if anyone can remember, but at the Mountain Mayhem this year was a stand showing a new style of lightweight, rather sexy looking helmet that could either be full face or... not, can anyone remember what they were called?

I have a Met Parachute. Very nice, reasonably cool and lightweight but it's not a full facer by any means. I definitely recommend - it will at least absorb some of the impact if you try that again. Some have found the fit difficult but it's fine for me (there's a recent post on here somewhere about it).

Only downside of a chin guard is cycling when you have a bit of a cold..........
