At this moment im using deore cable discs till I can afford hydro discs in the spring.But can any body recommend a full length outer,that would protect my rear brake cable,From the brake lever all the way to the caliper?

And would standard deore or lx cable outer work?

Go to your LBS and get them to cut you a length off the reel

I'm using Avid full metal jackets front and rear. Very good and it changes the feel of the brake. Would recommend.

FMJ's are Ok but if hes planning to upgrade to Hydros in the spring so i wouldnt bother as Kato says just get some generic outer cut to length at the LBS and a new stainless steel brake cable, It should only cost you about £5 if you fit it yourself if you dont know how to do this look here...

And yes Deore or LX would work but most packs in the mail order companies are cut to length for v'brakes
