All but one in our group use the front Defender, even they look crap but they do keep the mud/water out of your face

1 lad has the "THE" Sportline front fender, they look better than the Defender and the bracket is much more secure

I used the defender and both the front and rear parts snapped off over a fairly short space of time. The brackets aren't strong enough to hold the weight of the guards.

Neil take it back to the shop, mines about six months old and is still going strong.

I have already taken one bracket back to Halfords so have actually been through two brackets. I was that disappointed after the last break that I binned the actual guards.

Therefore, I would be grateful for any suggestions for an indestructible front mudguard. I’ve never tried a crudcatcher as I’ve read many bad reviews. Also, my downtube (mongoose teocali) is quite far from the wheel so I thought this may reduce its effectiveness. If anybody has any contrary opinions I would like to hear please.
