How great are waterproof socks? (retorical question)

Not only do they keep your feet dry and keep your toes toasty but.....

....when you forget to dry your shoes it doesnt matter.

I just had this urge to sing their praises.

I agree that is until you go over the top then they become water proof bags of cold water!

I hate them, they feel like two pairs of socks with a carrier bag inbetween.

I rather have cold, wet feet

have you tried the bike sock yet KAto? I prefer the mid light but I like wearing two pairs of socks with a carrier bag, kinky I guess, but the bike socks feel disappointingly normal.

I agree in part with Kato, but I now wear some really thin socks under them which removes the sack-like feeling they can have.
