I was perusing various online stores etc as I'm idly wishing to get a set of them at some point. Thing is I quite specifically need 150mm travel 20mm bolt through jobbies as any more travel will screw up my handling.
The trouble being that I can't find any on CRC etc and on the Marzocchi site they don't even mention the Jr T's. Does this mean they've stopped making them? And were they ever made in 150mm, or did I just imagine that?
I'd be grateful if someone could help out, just in case I feel really rich all of a sudden and want to buy a pair....
Junior T's are 170's aren't they ?? Likely Long for there travel aswell so forget them sadly, nice and cheap. ( might be internally adjustable to 150mm ?? rings a vague bell )
James Harper, has just put 160mm Fox 36 Van's on his Joker I think, loves it but not cheap ofcourse, the older Joker with 6inch rear end ?? 03 area ??
Pikes are only 140mm good forks though.
Judging from how you ride, you'd be better off going double crown, but doubt there are any DC's with 150mm, Marz AM2's maybe ?? should be strong enough.
Hmmm, I would like DC's, but I really can't have any more travel than I have now as it will screw with the handling. I know a guy that put 170mm 66s on a 2005 Joker and it made the ride really wank, to the point he nearly sold it. (The sod got 66RC2X instead though -- hmmph)
You quite regularly see old Jr T's or Mr T's on ebay, pre 2001 should be 150mm but check with the seller. I nearly bought the '06 Rockshox rides for my Joker (they get some really good reviews) as they are adjustable between 133 and 178mm but I chickened out and bought the Fox Van 36's. The Z1 freerides are a safe bet and a mate of mine hammers a set of AM 1's on his Bullit.
