Hi all, i have just purchased an uzzi dh, with 5th element shock.
i have also bought some hope dh4's, (which i need the right rotors for)marrzochi 66rc(05) and i want to use this as a dh/fr/almountain and also hit lots of big things around the city if poss. any one got any ideas on further bits?
i have a Race face prodigy crank, but am notsure if this is the way fwd as there is the new xternal bb thing out now?
any ideas would be very helpful

That crank will be fine.. More than fine!

I had an M1 which I used for pretty much the same sort of thing. I built it with an XT short cage rear mech, Atomlab wheelset (amazing value, and totally indestructible!), MRP chain guide, Maxxis High Roller 2.5 tyres, thomson seatpost, flite saddle, and raceface diablous bars and stem..

Hope this gives you a little help in deciding.

i have just bought a xt rear sc mech, but im thinking ov going for the sram x.0 gear
which is the better?
and i want to run a 2 chain ring set up on the front with a bash guard, pity that this frame needs an etype mech.
im a little usure of the things out there and the quality as im just gettin back into my biking.
Cheers
Matt

also ne 1 know where i can get a proffesional job of getting this frame powder coated?

The X0 stuff is good, there's no doubt about that... But it's bloody pricey and IMO not worth the extra money, especially on something like the bike you're building up...There's a good chance that you might bend/snap the mech at some point, and I'd rather break a £40 than a £150 one...!!!

powdercoating at argos - not the shop

someone'll find a link in a minute, they're supposedly the best

The atomlab wheels will break after the frame goes I reckon! Sooooo strong! I'm heavy and have done some uber cases that contributed to bollocksing bushings in a ride and the wheels - nothing.

what're the hubs like on atomlab wheels? they sound right up my street

i have 05 66rc and already have a ck front hub (20mm) and have got a hope bulb for the rear, have spotted 321 rims, any verdict on them! cant wait to get this project finished and go out and try to break it!!!!!!!

321 rims on a CK up front and a bulb out back, sounds pretty damn tough and pimp to me !

its now at the painters! so this little beauty should be ready in about 2 weeks! ill post a pic so u can all c!

Reet bo!

Mike, the atomlab wheelset came with their own hubs, which have done 6 months so far and are perfect still.

i destroyed an atomlab freewheel, sent an email and had one in the post the next day. service....!
