I've fitted a new shimano xtr front derailleur to my fuel 90, its top pull, but the cable sticks out at a 40deg angle from the end of the cable outer. this means it rubs on the rocker arm, and makes an odd noise.

Any thoughts on a fix? theres a lot of rocker type fs bikes out there?

on a normal top pull, conventional derailleur, does the cable stick out this far perpendicular to the frame?

The front mech cable routing is horrendous on Fuels, the angle it comes out of that last peice of outer is awful, and you're probably just gonna have to stick with it.
