When fitting my juicy fives to my spare forks, manitou black's, the cup/dome washers were fouling the disc(which I got around by using conventional washers and luckily all is straight). The new forks I wish to buy marzocchi mx comp are also post mount, does anyone use juicys with these forks and if so are/were there any clearance issues??
Yeah. Why is post mount considered to be better than IS? Sure it is a bit stiffer, but one false move and the threads are stripped leaving your entire fork useless, whereas with IS you can just get a new bracket, and also remove and replace caliper without having to re-centre, etc., not to mention that it is an international standard and thus is supposed to make life simpler and more compatible. (And yes, I do realise that you can break the IS holes, but it's not as likely.)
