My back rim is buckled really badly, so i need to get a new rim for my Kona Dawg, i ride a bit of everything, but im prone to slamming the bike down off jumps - i was thinking that the AtomLab Pimp Rim looks sturdy. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

trailpimps or mavic ex 729s... got a pair of both, 729s are rock solid and not a silly weight. trailpimps are (seemingly anyway) indestructable and super stiff, noticeably moreso than the mavics.

either way you'll have a rim that'll do the job (assuming it's built well!)

I got a Mavic 729 on the front of my Patriot after destroying a Sun Singletrack and had it build by a local wheel builder who is excellent and well trusted. Apparently its the strongest wheel he's ever built.

Not used the Atomlabs so can't help there.

I got the rim for £40, then i think it was about £16 for spokes then maybe another £20 for the build

EX325 on a budget, or EX729 if not, I'm using a EX729 on the rear of the HT, previous wheel failed frequently, this ones fine.

Rigida DH30 if you want to never change it again

I've got 325 rims on the RMX Dylan and i agree, just as strong as 729s but a little heavier, probably too much on a trail bike.
