I'm stumped. There seems to be little on the Web about installing Middleburns, so perhaps someone out there can shed some light on the subject!
My Explosif's cranks are up the spout, so it's time to fit a new set. I promised myself I'd shed some weight from the bike and pimp it up a bit when the time came, so I've got a set of Middleburn Duo rs7's. Lovely, hand-finished and cool they may be, but they're not on the bike yet.
What I need are some crank bolts for my FSA isis BB, but Middleburn only seem to do these for square taper bb's. Can this be the case? If so, can any users out there advise which crank bolts would be best?
Secondly, with Duo's, Chainreaction supply outer ring bolts, but are these suitable for the three inner spaces on a set of Duo's?
Thanks for the response Mike. Y'know, the BB didn't come with ANY bolts. How cool is that?
As it is, I think the thread on the rs7 crank arm is rated as m15, but I'm not 100% sure about that. With my usual perfect timing, Middleburn impossible contact at present due to some phone problem or other!
its not a middleburn issue .. its the thread in the bb thats the issue ... im gonna suggest the obvious but take the bb to the lbs and ask to buy bolts to fit ...
Yep, that's the current solution. Still, I'll get the details off the lbs and post it here for future refrence. Bound to come in handy for someone else...
