I am about to start commuting to work by bike and orginally thought that getting a bike with the 'old-fashioned' fenders would be the best idea but I want a hybrid bike really like the Claud Butler Urban 200 maybe? Or Specialized Crossroads or maybe the Giant CRS 3.0. All fairly similar bikes I believe?
Anyway, in terms of mudguards - I view them as an absolute essential but dont know which is the best for preventing all the water from getting in my face and up my back!
I want a front mudguard that turns with the wheel too because I used to have a crud-catcher on my old bike that was fixed to the frame and obviously got splattered into oblivion!
I'm not worried too much about the style but if it looks cool then even better!
ANY tips or help or anything else would be really gratefully received!!
