I'm after some knee and shin armour for my 10 year old son. He's riding at a pretty good level (eg Coed y Brenin MBR, Haldon red run) I ride with him and usually wear knee pads, he wants to follow my example.

Any recommendations for childrens pads that actually work?

Easy. Robbie (age 11) uses Fox knee/shin guards and finds them really comfy. He cut up old football socks to keep the top piece in place.

Highly recommended at the price - £14.99

...ummm, exactly which ones? I've just looked at the member reviews on Fox K&S pads and the reviews suck bigtime for one model in particular
