Can anyone recommend which platform/clipless pedal combo would be best for use with proper clipless shoes and normal trainers.
The reason I ask is that I have SPDs on my commuting bike and would like to continue to commute using them, but in my lunch break I want to go and practise at the jump spot in flatties.
Flats are much more fun on a commuter. Two seconds from cyclist to pedestrian (which makes drivers think three times before running into you). That and having feet free to express your feelings. How much time are you going to lose on flats? Sam Hill won the worlds and one of the quickest guys on TransWales was on flats.
